One of the most important premieres of this year will be the serial version of the T-Cross Breeze concept, which will be a compact crossover, and soon it will be released on the market. The T-Cross will be based on the shortened version of the MQB platform, which is the basis for the new Polo.
The compact crossover will offer different customization capabilities for customers, as well as the fresh T-Roc. The most likely new T-Cross will be presented at the Geneva Motor Show in March this year.
Also in 2018, the top Volkswagen Touareg SUV will be presented, which has an exterior design inspired by the T-Prime Concept GTE. The new Touareg will have a higher quality passenger compartment and will benefit from a digital dashboard and a new multimedia system with a huge touch screen.
The closest premiere is dated January this year. At the Detroit Auto Show, the new generation Volkswagen Jetta is expected.
Jetta is a no less important model for the Germans, so it enjoys a high demand, especially in the North American and Chinese markets. The new Jetta will have turbocharged gasoline and diesel engines under the bonnet, which will optionally be coupled to a new 8-speed automatic box, and will also be offered in at least one hybrid drive version.
This year, a new member of the conceptual family I.D. will launch, who previews future Volkswagen electric cars and a conceptual electric sports car.
