Toyota all set to roll out the GT86

Toyota has been coming up with one driver oriented car after another and with the launch of the all new GT 86; the company has reached all new heights and set up a new benchmark in the field of driver’s vehicles. The vehicle has received an external modification along with an enhancement in drive train and as a result the super charged engine develops more power than its predecessor.

The engine could not be turbo charged as the engine has a very low position that cannot accommodate the turbo charger. Toyota is also offering a range of customization options and this is due to the developments of the Toyota Racing Department. The vehicle is expected to be launched across showrooms in the UK fall 2013 and the GT 86 features an all new platform and chassis that changes the aerodynamics settings on the vehicle.

The vehicle was tested at the ParcMotor track in Barcelona and the first images of the vehicle were spied. The test car was metallic blue and the chassis modifications are in a different league all through itself. The new GT 86 has 16,000 Pounds worth of extra body kit arrangements available along with the vehicle and the adjustable dampers and suspension settings have stiffened the springs by 15 mm.

The vehicle features 20 percent excess use of carbon fiber and this has been done to reduce body weight as extra body kit weight has been added to the vehicle. The vehicle also has a bigger disk brake calipers from Brembo and this means better stopping capability. This along with better aerodynamics, presence of a rear wing and spoiler has made the GT 86 one of the fastest Toyotas ever.

He engine growl has a deeper bass effect and this means a more focused approach on speeding. The vehicle has the urge to go faster and this is good news for the sports car fanatics. The GT 86 makes for a great driver’s car and the handling is very peppy and concise leaving no room for error. The handling and acceleration has been given more importance on this machine and this is typical Japanese engineering.

The standard 18 inch sports alloyed rims along with the side shafts give the GT 86 a very aggressive appeal and this is an additional feature of the GT 86. Standard Dunlop and Bridgestone tires will be available according to the choice of the customers. The GT 86 features five distinct trim options and this enhances the overall feel of the vehicle. The interior of the vehicle has already been enhanced followed by the drive train and exterior and the GT 86 has been an anticipated launch from Toyota since the company showcased the vehicle in 2011.

The wait for the vehicle is finally over and the customers should not be disappointed with the final product. Toyota has put in a lot of effort and this is visible in the final product. The final reviews of the vehicle are yet to be launched and this is the real test of nerves.
