The French also promise that the new Renault Duster will be able to offer higher quality materials, more space, and better sound insulation. The same steering wheel can now be adjusted not only in height (with 40 mm) but also in depth (by 50 mm).
The new Renault Duster is better equipped than it used to be. The top versions will come with an air conditioning system, keyless access system, engine start button, 360-degree video cameras, light sensor and dead angle control system behind the car, and so on.
The new Renault Duster has a range of revised engines and gearboxes. The 1.2-liter TCe turbo unit with 125 hp is not available.
Instead, it is made available the engine used on the previous model, the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter with 145 hp. The latter comes only on a car with an all-wheel drive and an automatic gearbox.
The petrol versions, SCE 1.6-liter and 115 hp can have an all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. The gearbox can be a mechanical or a variator (available only with FWD drive cars).
The current and well-known 1.5 dCi diesel is offered in two power versions. The basic one produces 90 horses and comes with front-wheel drive and manual gearbox only, and the 110 hp variant can be chosen in combination: four-wheel drive and mechanical box, or front-wheel drive and EDC robotic box.
The first market that will see the new Renault Duster will be Africa this winter. At the same time, European dealers will start selling the new Dacia Duster.
