The Cars that stood out at the New York Motor Show

Acura RLX

Acura’s RLX stood out in the New York Motor Show that is going on between 6th April and 15th April. The flagship tech concept of Acura is Honda’s American arm. The big saloon car has a precision steering wheel which affects the suspension under different conditions to improve its handling. The car has moved quite well into the luxury sector with its new 370 hp V6 hybrid engine.

BMW X1

This new X1 gets a 306 hp 3.0-liter turbo engine in America. It will start selling in the United Kingdom sometime next month.

Chevrolet Camaro Hot Wheels

When it is out, you will definitely see this Camaro coming and you will hear it too! It is inspired by the Custom Camaro model as part of the original Hot Wheels collection and Chevrolet has manufactured a 432 hp 6.2-liter V8 engine for this chrome green Camaro.

Chevrolet Sonic Boom

This is an Aveo-based Chevy with a punk smart stereo that comes with two fifteen-inch subwoofers and six twelve-inch mid-range speakers with tweeters powered by six amplifiers. These are for the sonic crazy. Though its name doesn’t mean that it can break the sound barrier, it should definitely come with its ear defenders and health warnings.

Chevrolet 2013 Traverse

This is the new face of Chevy’s crossover vehicle section. The eight-seater SUV will get a new soft front grille to make it look like its European premium rivals. It will also come with new rebound springs in its suspension to reduce roll.

Dodge Dart RallyCross

This is based on the Alfa Romeo Giulietta. It is focused more on economy rather than on speed. It is still strong enough to pack a punch. With its 2.0-liter 600 hp turbo motor and a four-wheel drive, the Dart RallyCross of Dodge will be featuring in the Global RallyCross Championship this year and will be driven by the daredevil, Travis Pastrana.
