Lighter, stiffer and more responsive engine, three core elements that immediately display the new Subaru WRX STI Spec C. The Spec C will get a lot of upgrades on top of a standard STI, such as an aluminum hood, ball bearings for reduced friction with the twin-scroll turbocharger, an optimized ECU programming and a mechanical limited-slip differential. The actual list of upgrades continues for a while.
The STI Spec C is positioned as a more hardcore Subaru Impreza WRX STI for those who want a more extreme driving experience. Across the car was over weight savings, while the crossbar of the frame was reinforced and the large 245/40 18 “Bridgestone Potenzas to ensure adequate grip. If power gets a Spec C 2.0-liter four-cylinder boxer engine, which provides a 308pk of power and 430Nm of torque. Further figures are given, but all of the above can be deduced that the Spec C has what it takes to make very handsome performance dropping.
Who tremendously excited by this car, will go to the Land of the Rising Sun to move. The WRX STI Spec C is only sold in Japan and plans for Europe are unfortunately not on the table.
