New Hyundai H350 Presented At The 2016 Hanover Motor Show

Hyundai presented the new H350 at the show dedicated to commercial vehicles IAA 2016 held in Hanover, Germany, from 21 to 29 September 2016.
For the first time three versions of the model are shown to the public: a dumper, a platform and a van to carry seven people.
The new model has motorizations that meet the Euro 6 standards. Now customers can choose between three years warranty with unlimited kilometers, currently available for H350 units, or a pack of five years up to 200,000 kilometers. On this occasion the H350 Fuel Cell was revealed, a hydrogen supplied concept.

After two years since the debut of the H350, a dedicated offer for European customers was developed and adapted to specific consumer needs, at least according to Thomas A. Schmid, Chief Operating Officer of Hyundai Motor Europe.

Inaugurated at IAA 2014, the H350 model is the first light commercial vehicle, launched by the car manufacturer specifically for the European market. Produced in a new assembly line in Karsan, Bursa, in Turkey, the model benefits from a high level of quality and reliability. Thanks to automated production technologies, the manufacturing process allows for flexibility in assembling superstructures like van, bus and motor vehicle chassis, all in the same place.

The turbo diesel engine with a displacement of 2.5 liter, Euro 6 compliant, increases efficiency and reduces fuel consumption by up to 4.4 percent. A new element is the Eco Drive Active function, which comes as standard, which helps fuel economy by adapting the engine characteristics to the driving mode of the vehicle owner.

The H350 model extended its presence being available in 14 European countries. Romania, Bulgaria, Denmark, Hungary and Portugal joined in 2016 on top of Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Italy, Poland, Turkey, Spain and Switzerland. In addition, more than 500 distributors in the region will commercialize the new vehicle from the first half of 2017. The clients will benefit from the model‘s features including high load capacity, ergonomic design and outstanding performance.

These achievements are due to the high standards of quality and safety based on a rigid structure of the chassis which incorporates 75 percent high strength steel.

The vehicle offers both a spacious interior and also safety features and comfort. These include cruise control, video camera for a reverse parking assist system and rain sensors. In terms of safety, H350 benefits from the rollover prevention system, emergency stop signaling, traction control, as well as a warning system when leaving the lane unintentionally.

The engine based on fuel cell develops 136 hp (100 kW) and a maximum speed of 150 Km / h, a performance similar to that of a light commercial vehicle equipped with internal combustion engine.
Compared to a conventional electric vehicle the hydrogen tank holds 175 liters and can be filled in less than four minutes, similar to the time required for feeding the gasoline or diesel tank.

The vehicle provides a range of 422 km. The powertrain is mounted so that its installation will not affect the available loading area. Depending on wheelbase, the storage space is 10.5 cubic meters or 12.9 cubic meters, enough to accommodate five euro palets or transporting 14 people.
