Mitsubishi adds hundreds of equipment to new 2011 Endeavor

2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor, a crossover utility vehicle, got pretty interesting equipment line up and better performing engine. Far from predecessors, this new mid-size crossover SUV offers all of new equipments free of cost, says in the press release. From the starting of production in 2003 itself, Endeavor used the same SSU prototype with 335 plus HP and V6 engine. But due to performance related issues, says officials, the model couldn’t meet its expectation sale of 80,000, rather there was only 32,000 unit sales only.

There were no continuous production through years, especially in 2009, there was no production of new variant of Mitsubishi Endeavor. So, reviewers points that, there is no proud history for this SUV. But, this year Mitsubishi is all set to make some changes in the game. Being 2010 model a not so successful model, changes in engine were sure for this vehicle and the new engine is a 3.8-liter V-6 engine that power out 225 HP at around 5,000 rpm, and this engine is available with SOHC 24-valve installation, for increasing performance for this application crossover. Press releases also said that 255 lb.-ft. of torque will be produced at a minor figure of 3,750 rpm.

All the 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor engine is coupled with 4-speed Sportronic transmission, both manual and automatic, with INVECS-II tech. Major exterior redesigns, highlighted by reporters are that, a new sun roof installation for better flexible application and a navigation system package consist of a DVD and touch screen, for no cost from Mitsubishi. Experts say, there were no such add ups for a base model, and this will increase customer spectrum of Endeavor.

2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor got very impressive cabin features with well engineered gadgets, which makes living inside this SUV fun and comfortable. Reports said two major features versatility and capability makes this vehicle unique among most of the rivals of Mitsubishi. These interior features along with sunroof and touch screen with DVD are available in both four wheel drive and all wheel drive models.

Equipment line up are seen as a long list in the press release revealed by Mitsubishi last month, which comprises weather controller with air conditioner, this air conditioner is an automatic climate control system in 2011 Mitsubishi Endeavor, audio system with six speakers which can play AM as well as FM and MP3s, standard leather covered seats (in SE, an enhanced version, there is Rockford-Fosgate® music system with nine speakers and all format play capability.
