Ford indicates that it plans on launching this vehicle in the UK mid 2015 while additional assistance technologies and semi autonomous features are set to be used on this vehicle. Ford has added its advanced obstacle avoiding system in this vehicle while it should sit along with the Kruger and EcoSport models in range.
Porsche has showcased its latest Turbo S Cabriolet and 911 Turbo and these vehicles draw power from a 3.8 liter six cylindered petrol engine displacing 513 BHP and 522 BHP respectively. These vehicles are capable of accelerating from 0 – 60 MPH within 3.5 and 3.2 seconds. Porsche claims a top speed of 198 MPH while fuel efficiency is said to have been improved by 30 percent over its predecessors, totaling 28.5 MPG.
Land Rover’s latest LBW platform is the latest in its Range Rover segment to go on sale fall march 2014 and the first vehicle to be based on it is the Autobiography Black. This vehicle will also be its flagship for the moment while being placed on an extended wheelbase. This should give this vehicle an up market feel while sporting a price tag of £140,000.
Mercedes Benz is all set to launch its latest GLA 45 AMG into production early next year and it should set foot in the United Kingdom soon. This vehicle is powered by a 2.0 liter AMG prepped turbo charged petrol engine displacing 335 BHP along with 332 ft lb of torque, while its engine is mated to a seven speed automated transmission system. This vehicle shares drive train with the all new Mercedes Benz CLA 45 AMG and the A 45 AMG.
Subaru has made up its own space in the competitive sports car market segment and its buyers are usually based on diversified age groups starting from teen agers to middle aged men. Subaru’s new WRX is the car of the moment and the company is offering a traditional six speed manual transmission and optional CVT automated transmission system with its next generation vehicle. This vehicle is designed around a new platform and has various external modifications. Subaru will be shipping its initial batch of vehicles to the United Kingdom soon although details are yet to be revealed.
The Los Angeles Motor Show this year has been fairly successful so far while fans are looking forward to catching up with a car of their choice. We actually have a good chance of seeing every concept car showcased here on road within the next half decade although further modifications are needed on such vehicles to make them viable.
