Kia Optima T-Hybrid debuts in Paris Motor Show

Paris Auto Show saw the unveiling of Kia’s concept electric and diesel running car, Optima T-Hybrid. Korean Manufacturer grabbed a lot of attention from car enthusiasts as well as from media all over the world with showcasing their future creation.

As per reports suggest, Optima T-Hybrid has gotten approval for production in mass numbers. Kia has designed a totally new powertrain for this car. This concept model will have a 1.7 litre capacity turbo diesel engine of CRDi technology. It will also have 48V lead-carbon battery which helps to operate an electric motor. This car will run on diesel during high speeds and long distances. And it will run on electric power when the car is in cruise mode or its running at slower speeds.

Officials at Kia report that this electric-diesel hybrid engine will give an added 20% power with a reduced emission of CO2 gas. There is yet any report on fuel economy of this car but rest assured you will be informed very soon.
