At CES 2018 in Las Vegas, KIA will bring the concept of the Niro EV electric crossover, which will predict the future of the fully electric Niro SUV.
Considered a few years ago an event dedicated especially to the IT industry, CES (Consumer Electronics Show) Las Vegas has become one of the highlights of the automotive industry in recent years with connectivity development and technology in the world of cars.
On the conceptual SUV, more new technologies will emerge, including a new lighting system and a new interior multimedia interface.
The KIA Niro series will have a more conservative design, but the concept shows how the Korean brand design will evolve in the future. The all-electric SUV will join the two currently available Niro versions, Hybrid and Hybrid plug-in, and will most likely have a propulsion identical to that on the Hyundai Ioniq.
At CES 2018, KIA will also bring three interactive cockpits to show visitors how the company will incorporate new technologies to enhance passenger and vehicle interaction. These include new advanced driver assistance technologies and 5G connectivity.
In addition to technical subtleties, the Kia Niro EV Concept will offer a number of exciting features dedicated to state-of-the-art technology fans. Kia claims that the multimedia system interface on display at CES Las Vegas will be “unmatched” in the automotive world.
Also, the light system will be based on the “motion graphics” philosophy and has the potential to be implemented on series models over the next few years. It remains to be seen what exactly “motion graphics” means in the Kia concept.
