Wood trim finishes, leather upholstery along with polished metal and suede headliner are standard on the XK Signature, while Convertible and Coupe variants are expected to be launched soon. This car draws power from a 5.0 liter naturally aspirated engine, displacing 380 BHP and is capable of accelerating from 0 – 60 MPH within 5.2 seconds, while top speed has been electronically limited to 155 MPH.
If you are looking for more powerful engines, look no further than an XK Dynamic R. This variant is available with a standard 503 BHP displacing, 5.0 liter V8 engine block, which is capable of accelerating from 0 – 60 MPG within 4.6 seconds. There is massive difference in performance and luxury trim levels in both these vehicles, as they are designed to appeal to a wider class of people.
The XKR is a powerful Coupe, while its Dynamic R sibling is a few steps ahead in every way. Ride height has been lowered by 10 mm on all standard vehicles to enhance stability, which in turn provides additional traction, reduces drag coefficient and renders easy cornering. Jaguar has reportedly fitted an additional speed pack, which includes aerodynamic stability, Active Differential Control, multi clutch brakes with vector torque, with a higher top speed of 174 MPH.
Insiders say, they Dynamic R sports best in class rubber for additional grip, which is capable of holding this vehicle to the ground even at high speed and around corners. Tweaks made to its exhaust system are replacement enough for leather seats, available on standard Signature models. Performance models do not have luxury features as standard, even though they are available in optional packages.
Steering feedback and weight have been increased due to reverse weight bias, which spins the car around in corners effectively, making it drift friendly. However, a range of electronic driver assistance measures keep all four wheels strictly on asphalt. This renders drifting difficult, although you need to turn off these fancy gadgets for the real thrill of driving, even though it is not recommended for beginners and amateurs.
Suspension and damper modifications keep this car on track, while 20 inch sports alloys look good on both variants. Jaguar s providing six speed automatic transmission on all variants, although manual variants have not been announced so far. Steering wheel mounted transmission paddles are included in their optional package. We are yet to receive details regarding mechanical components and will update you periodically.
