1. KITT Knight Rider
KITT is a smart computer located in the bodywork of an automobile that is highly advanced and highly mobile. The original KITT was set in 1982 and was a Pontiac Trans Am while the second KITT appeared in 2008 / 2009 and it was a Ford Shelby GT500KR.
The main actor of the show, David Hasselhoff, was the protagonist of the incredible and extremely dangerous scenes with KITT.
The car that was used most often in the series was bought by a collector in California in 1997 for a price of 150,000 dollars, and in 2007 was taken back at auction but it seems that the car cannot be used on the streets – it is now too pollutant for the new rules we have today.
2. Cadillac ECTO-1
The famous Ghostbusters movie made headlines when it appeared in 1984. The interventions car was designed based on a Cadillac ECTO-1. The car was built by Miller-Meteor. Also, the ambulance / hearse variant was equipped with lots of items and equipment that helped the actors in their hunt for ghosts.
The car used in the movie was a Ford Lincoln Futura 1955. This was a concept car made by Lincoln and was designed by stylists working for Ford, namely Bill Smith and John Najjar.
The car was hand-built by Ghia in Italy, and cost 250,000 dollars at that time. In 1966 the car was modified by George Barris for Batman and was then transformed into the Batmobile.
The car has the bodywork made of carbon fiber and has a Chevrolet V8 engine with a displacement of 5.7 liters. Because Batman needs a tremendous power, the car has no less than 400 horsepower, and it can go from 0 to 100 km / h in five seconds.
4. Aston Martin DB10
The famous car of James Bond, the Aston Martin DB10 is a two-door coupe that was unveiled first in 2014 with the advent of the Spectre movie. The chassis is based on a modified version of the VH Phantom which is the basis of the Vantage, but the DB10 has a longer wheelbase.
