The Alfa Romeo 4C model has been released in 2014 as a daring vehicle which was not necessarily meant to be transformed into a series. However, proven to be successful enough, the company has actually released it and it is now planning the debut of the totally improved version.

Definitely inspired from the previous released models such as 8C and 6C, the 4C will feature the same carbon fiber and aluminum and will also include the famous rear wheel drive configuration.

On the outside, the Alfa Romeo 4C will feature a design inspired from 33 Stradale and also from the famous model, 8C. The latest color shades available for the upcoming vehicle will be: Rosso Alfa (Wine Red) and Rosso Competizione (Metallic Red), Basam-Grau (Grey) and Perlmutt- Weiss (Cream). All the vehicles will feature the new three layer color technology.

The hood styling includes two ridges from the upper edges continuing until reaching the triangular grille and hit the rear part widening to the sides. A smooth, round piece of glass has been inserted near the windshield which is only featuring one wiper.

A tiny rear lip has been added in order to achieve more force at the rear end. Also on the rear part, the taillights have bee enhanced with LED technology and tailpipes are a bit more evident in order to let the engine exhale.

However, if you look at this car from the side you will surely notice the smooth, elegant profile which resembles a very sleek appearance. The styling is also improved by the humps which have been added to the front and rear wheel at the same time. Also, the back doors are the exclusive breakups in the overall body, actually having the duty to improve the air intake vent in order to cool the engine.

There have been some rumors that say that the 4C will actually weight 1973 pound and almost 60 percent of the entire weight will be distributed on the rear axle. Although a bit too much for the back, the overall vehicle will definitely have a proportioned aerodynamics as the body is made of carbon fiber, the frame of aluminum and steel and the crash boxes of aluminum.

The performance figures say that the fuel injection, four cylinder engine will be able to reach a top speed of 258 km/h is just 4.5 seconds checking in at 47 mpg on the highway and 24 mpg in the city.

Agile and dynamic, the upcoming Alfa Romeo model will be available at a price announced somewhere between $45,000 and $70,000. However, no official information has been released regarding the exact date of release. We are sure that it is most likely to have it on the market starting with the beginning of next year.

One of the main competitors of 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C is the 2014 Porsche Cayman but at 60 mph in 5.8 seconds we must conclude that it is surely slower and even more expensive.
