The funky X2 Sports Activity Coupé (SAC, like a crossover but with a sloping roofline) was launched at the end of 2017, last year it also got a fiscally interesting plug-in hybrid powertrain . In anticipation of a facelift (mid-2021?), BMW comes on the scene with the X2 M Mesh Edition.
That glitzy special edition calls on a new high-gloss black grille with sporty mesh (à la M135i xDrive ) and the exclusive Brooklyn Gray exterior color with contrasting Frozen Black Brown accents all around. You can also opt for an Alpine White, Phytonic Blue or Sunset Orange body color. Depending on that choice, you get orange or black stickers all around, if desired, these are omitted. In terms of rims, the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition comes with 19 ”or 20” alloy wheels that match the chosen color scheme.
Inside the BMW X2 M Mesh Edition, in addition to a black headliner, sporty M-pedals / steering wheel, Edition door sill plates, we also find leather sports seats (partly in Alcantara) in a Mokka color scheme, again with orange stitching.
BMW will supply the X2 M Mesh Edition with three diesels (116 hp to 231 hp), two petrol engines (136 hp to 178 hp) and the xDrive25e plug-in hybrid (220 hp). Available from November, count on an additional cost of around 1,500 euros compared to the M Sport X trim level.
